In December 2023, our community received substantial donations through a GoFundMe campaign, enabling us to successfully finance two community engagement events. These events facilitated constructive dialogues among individuals of all demographics, leading to the identification and prioritisation of community strategic plan, as well as the establishment of our Community-Based Organization (CBO) and the selection of members for the Community Partnership Board (CPB) Moreover, a portion of the funds raised will be dedicated to the implementation of Satellite internet in the community, with plans set for May. This technological upgrade will not only grant access to global connectivity but also enrich our educational opportunities in the digital age. We are also pleased to announce that discussions are underway with the Well Boring Charity to address our water-related challenges. Furthermore, we are excited to be meeting with the esteemed charity Bees Abroad in May to explore the possibility of launching a new Bee-farming training program for up to 20 of our female bee enthusiasts.
